Priorities

Protect rural character. Prepare for the future.

🛡

Public safety and emergency preparedness

Support law enforcement, fire, EMS, emergency management, and better coordination across agencies serving rural communities, visitors, and remote recreation areas.

Roads, infrastructure, and connectivity

Plan safer rural pathways, practical shoulder improvements, gravel paths, improved crossings, and long-term transportation connections across East Lewis County.

🌲

Responsible growth and rural stewardship

Protect the land, water, forests, outdoor heritage, small businesses, and community character that make District 3 unique.

Growing the county general fund

Use working forests, renewable energy, transportation access, outdoor recreation, rural industry, and responsible private investment to support family-wage jobs and stronger county services.

Practical economic development

Explore opportunities like forest products, woody biomass, value-added manufacturing, and a responsible bioeconomy model that can create jobs and fund infrastructure.

Clear communication and accountable government

Residents should understand what is being proposed, why it matters, what the tradeoffs are, and how decisions affect families, businesses, land, roads, taxes, and communities.

District Tree Talk

Clear communication matters.

In aviation and the military, the phonetic alphabet exists because clarity matters. “Three” becomes “Tree” so everyone hears the same message the same way.

That same mindset should apply to local government. Tim’s District Tree Talk updates focus on the issues that matter across District 3: public safety, roads, EMS, growth, recreation pressure, infrastructure, stewardship, and county finances.
